About Sedecordle Game Game
Sedecordle is one of the many Wordle alternatives floating around the internet these days like Dordle, Quordle, Octordle, and the like. Players must guess 16 five-letter words in 21 tries or less. The game grid is designed to accommodate all of the words so you can check the impact of your input on all of them at the same time.
The color tile hint rules remain the same as in Wordle. When the correct letter is in the correct place for the corresponding word in this case, the tile turns green. If a letter belongs to a word but is in the wrong place, the tile turns yellow. The tile turns gray if the letter does not appear at all in the word.
Some Tips for Playing Sedecordle Game
1. Start with a High-Information Word
Choose a starting word that has a combination of common vowels and consonants, such as “slate,” “crane,” or “audio.” The goal is to get information across all 16 words right from the start.
2. Focus on Vowels First
Vowels are key to solving words. Early guesses should include words with multiple vowels (like “audio” or “ouija”) to quickly narrow down which vowels appear in the words.
3. Look for Patterns Across All Grids
Don’t get bogged down with one word—check all 16 grids after every guess. The more information you gain about one word, the more likely you’ll be able to infer letters for other words.
4. Use Common Suffixes and Prefixes
Common endings like “-ing,” “-ed,” “-ly,” or prefixes like “re-,” “un-,” and “dis-” are likely to appear in many of the words. Guessing with these in mind can quickly help narrow down possibilities across multiple words.
5. Eliminate Dead Letters
As you get more guesses, keep track of which letters are definitely not in certain words. Eliminate them from your future guesses to reduce redundancy.
6. Solve One Word Completely to Free Up Space
If you manage to solve one word entirely, it can help unlock others by eliminating options. Solving even one word will give you more mental space to focus on the remaining 15.
7. Use Strategic Throwaway Guesses
If you’re stuck, make a guess that uses a lot of new letters across different words. Even if it doesn’t immediately help one word, it might uncover critical information in others.
8. Stay Organized and Manage Time Well
With 16 words to solve, it can be overwhelming. Be methodical, organize your guesses by focusing on vowels and common word structures first, and avoid rushing your decisions.
